"I’m proud to say that I’m part of a generation that has witnessed a handful of very talented young artists reach the masses via social media, and then have the big guns knock on their doors, because they’ve got the world’s attention. To me, that’s the essence of punk rock and hardcore. Building a scene. It used to be just about building a local scene…now, we have the tools to build a bigger scene. That’s something to celebrate. The day my government or leader or some evil force prevents me from actually creating art…then you’ll hear me bitch. Till then…I can create, and sometimes people listen. I’m a lucky one."

Damn you Shoulder Gorilla.

All up un my head and will not leave.
Anticipating this album more than anyone should. Kudos, NK.

The Audition needs to go on tour again.

echo-side:

I miss all the bands I used to be obsessed with. What ever happened to The Mile After? Tickle Me Pink? Danger Is My Middle Name? At least Van Atta High is doing a reunion show… Too bad I can’t go :(

Ohmygod
one of my pop punk dreeaammss.
I just creamed my pants.
The 16 y old me is screaming like a school girl.

People that hate Paramores new album

Are probally not true pop punk fans.
Or have not listened indepth enough to it yet.
At first i hated it, but it is growning on me. The song Be Alone is so perf….the riffs and the lyrics and simple concept. Every song has it’s own style unlike every other Paramore album where we KNEW what we were going to get; same ol girl pop punk woe is me fuck you you’ll be ok lyrics. This is different. So if you love this album, congrats, you are probally a true Paramore fan. Unlike the ones that got into them (or her…i hate when people refer to Paramore as HER. theactualfuck) because of Airplanes w B.O.B. Kudos to you to loving a true semi-mainstream (o will never think of them as fully mainstream, thats just….no. Never) band with a true sound and purpose and that is saying alot nowadays.
